July 2024 Columbiette of the Month

Our lady to be honored for the month of July is one special person! She is a very frequent visitor at Adoration and comes to spend much time and adore our Lord. She is always so thoughtful.

Recently she identified a homebound person that needed visitation and the Eucharist. She made sure that the Deacon was notified.

As a dedicated member of the Care Team, she has helped numerous Transfiguration parishioners who have unique needs. Although this lady works full-time, she has volunteered to chair the Birthright fundraiser two years in a row. Perhaps you remember last year’s Birthright “Christmas Tree.” It was absolutely beautiful!

She chaired the Columbiette Ladies’ Luncheon Food Committee in 2023 and served on the Committee as well. Yes, she was the one to develop the menu, determine the food costs, AND purchase the necessary groceries.

Most recently, this lady served the Columbiettes for the past two years as Sentinel.  She was always ready to help distribute documents, count votes, and ensure that the business meetings ran smoothly. The officers could not have done it without her help. This precious lady always has a smile on her face and is willing to help in any way she can.  She’s a real sweetheart!
