Sept ’24 Columbiette of the Month
Pat Von Plinsky
This Columbiette of the Month is a transfer from St. John Neumann. She and her husband were very active there. Thankfully, she decided to transfer her membership to the Transfiguration Columbiette auxiliary. Right from the start, this lady was a true gem!
During Covid, she made fifty beautifully embroidered Columbiette masks for the Ladies Luncheon gift box. Many Columbiettes visited her home to help cut out the masks and got to know this humble lady even better.
Most recently—you may have seen the Columbiettes wearing their very own Columbiette aprons embroidered with the Columbiette emblem and their name. Yes, our special Columbiette of the Month volunteered to take orders, embroider the aprons, and they look like they were ironed as well—but she’s not telling!
Currently, this special lady contributes much time to Transfiguration by making sure that Mass is live-streamed with attention to detail.
She also serves as the Columbiette Admission Co-Chair and is continuously recruiting for our auxiliary. We are so thankful for her.
She always has a kind word and a gentle smile.
