Dec ’24 Columbiette of the Month

This Columbiette is a beautiful soul.  We are so thankful that she is a Columbiette and happy to call her our “Sister in Christ.”  Her smile is contagious and her goodness shines through to all she meets.

This lady has a great sense of peace and joy in her heart.  She lives by the St. Therese quote: 

“You know well enough that Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them.”  

This Columbiette emulates St. Therese, the Little Flower.  She has a commitment for love of God and for all individuals.  She walks in the path of St. Therese by knowing it is the little things that count. She knows that often small details end up making a major impact in others’ lives. 

Last year, a dear friend who was also a Columbiette, went to be with the Lord.  In prayer and much self-reflection, this lady served as an Honor Guard during the Funeral Mass.  The lady’s strength and determination to complete this one final honor for her dear friend was heartfelt.  

This Columbiette has been very active in our auxiliary. She helped with the annual mum sale as well as writing Grace Notes on a monthly basis. 

We missed her so much at our annual Christmas Party this year. But she had a great excuse.  She and her husband were purchasing a brand-new car!
