Jan ’25 Columbiette of the Month

We honor Jackie Buzzetti as Columbiette of the month of January 2025. Jackie is such a special lady! Not only has this Columbiette come forward repeatedly to support our council and parish, but she also inspires her family with her strong devotion and love for our Blessed Mother, Mary.

Practically every Sunday, we can see her with her family kneeling at Mary’s feet, lighting candles and saying prayers. Jackie takes her role as a Columbiette Chairperson to the next level. For example, as the 2024 Ladies Luncheon Co-Chairperson, she helped to raise approximately $8,000, which was donated to five different charities. Her Casserole Committee sold 162 casseroles, successfully raising $2,700 which was donated to three different charities.

This Columbiette takes the quote: “Faith, by itself, if it has no works, is dead” (James 2:17) to heart. Presently, Jackie is Chairperson of the Columbiette Scrapbook Committee, Chairperson of the “Order of the Rose” Committee, and she is overseeing the planning of the Happy Days Luncheon Purse Auction. In addition to all these positions, she volunteered to take orders at the Mum Sale Table every Sunday after 8:00 am Mass–helping to raise approximately $2,000 for charity donations. This Columbiette truly shares God’s love with others through her commitment and the giving of her time, talents, and treasures.
